Thom here was nice enough to pose for me - and by "pose," I mean "read Red Eye" - on the bus the other day. We ended up getting off at the same stop and he asked to see it. That's always embarrassing for me, cuz I don't like people to know that I'm drawing them, in case they they feel invaded. Oops. Not the case, thankfully. Touched up later at work (I sure didn't use the brush pen on the bus).The smaller lines come courtesy of my new fave sketching tool, the Uni-Ball Vision Micro pen. Pricey and non-refillable, but amazing. Fluid, responsive. Meant for writing, but you can vary the line weight. Nice.
In other news, switching positions at my gallery job - moving to the same job at the sister gallery. Full time and benefits. Which I need. To live. My luck's gonna run out sometime.
